All the teaching activities of the Titus Brandsma Institute proceed from, and are backed by, its scientific research.
The education in spirituality provided by the Titus Brandsma Institute centre on seven key modules on SPINE.
- On the basis of lived spirituality in all its many forms a concept of spirituality is evolved,
- whose material and formal aspects are then explored
- and elaborated into four methodological designs. The most important of these is education: the SPINE modules focus on the student's learning process. Also see SPINE.
The SPINE modules are the basic paradigm for the TBI's education in spirituality.
- English medium courses (PhD programme; research master's and other master's courses), in collaboration with academic institutions, both local and abroad.
- Dutch medium courses (mystical symposium; school for spirituality) conducted by the TBI itself.
