The Titus Brandsma Institute has an extensive library on the subject of spirituality.
It comprises some 90.000 titles, including 15 manuscripts, 21 incunabula and 65 post-incunabula. There are also about 7.500 brochures and smaller publications.
Roughly one third of the collection comes from the libraries of Carmelite institutions or collections belonging to Carmelites, one third from donations by other religious institutions and a third has been acquired over the years.
Every year the collections grows by about 1000 books through donations and acquisitions.
The collection is classified into thirty sections.
